The book Mathrock was activated as the score for several different encounters. With the collective H.A.K., we prepared a grueling 45-minute set at a distance, with Olivier Mellano or Haine, we elaborated an energetic 20-minute set in a matter of minutes, with Robonom who followed the instruction manual to the letter and counted the bricks to program their machines for a full 30 minutes, and with Formanex who got back to guitar-bass-drums rock for the same duration. The projection of images from the book and various film cuts were mixed live in tandem with the musicians’ performances.

Le livre Mathrock a été activé en tant que partition lors de différentes rencontres. Avec le collectif H.A.K. on a préparé à distance un set très rigoureux de 45 minutes, avec Olivier Mellano ou Haine on a préparé en 5 minutes des sets énergiques de 20 minutes, avec Robonom qui ont pris le mode d’emploi au pied de la lettre et compté les briques pour programmer leurs machines sur une durée de 30 minutes, avec Formanex qui retrouvait une configuration rock, guitare-basse-batterie, pour une durée similaire. La projection d’un montage en direct qui mélange dessins du livre et images du film modifiées accompagne la performance des musiciens.
