Une boucle vidéo de 20 minutes est projetée sur un écran en forme d’œil, d’amande ou de soucoupe volante. Elle combine des modèles 3D générés par Google Earth et des modélisations 3D artisanales pour proposer une exploration circulaire de la Terre, à la fois de sa surface et de ses profondeurs. La caméra plonge dans le port de Buenos Aires, traverse la croûte, le manteau, un océan souterrain hypothétique et le noyau terrestre, puis émerge dans le port de Saint-Nazaire. Elle s’élève ensuite pour scruter la surface terrestre avant de replonger dans l’estuaire argentin, dans un cycle xénoscopique et immersif qui mêle observation satellite et fantastique géologique.

A 20-minute video loop is projected onto a screen shaped like an eye, an almond, or a flying saucer. It combines 3D models generated by Google Earth with handcrafted 3D modeling to offer a circular exploration of the Earth, both on its surface and through its depths. The camera dives into the port of Buenos Aires, passes through the crust, the mantle, a hypothetical underground ocean, and the Earth’s core, before emerging in the port of Saint-Nazaire. It then ascends, scanning the Earth, before plunging back into the Argentine estuary, in a xenoscopic, immersive loop where satellite imagery and geological imagination intertwine.
